In this uint covers basic concepts in computers.Mainly it includes applications of computers,parts of the computers, Generations,types of computers,memory and processor.Further this unit considers about the introduction to computer network.This is an eighty hour program.

Computer System

This unit covers the basic concepts of system and information system.Here describe elements of system and how become general system into information system.This section introduce the programming and system design.Time allocation for this unit is fourty two hours.

Internet

This unit includes the concepts of Internet and designing simple web pages.This unit describes the use of internet services such as E-mail,Search engine,chat and so on. Time allocation for this unit is eighty hours.

Application Packages

This unit more concentrates on the practical knowledge of the students.Mainly it includes Word Processing,Spread Sheet,Data Base Management and Presenation packages.In addition to that this unit introduces graphical packages such as corel draw or flash.Time allocation for this unit is 180 hours.

Teaching Methodology

This unit covers the techniques and methods available to teach ICT subjects in schools.This section includes traditional teaching methods as well as special teaching methods such as Web Base Learning,E-learning,Net Meeting, VOIP etc.

Project

At the end of the course all the students must complete a computer related project.It may be computer system for educational purpose or web site.All necessary instructions to carry out the project are given under teaching methodolgy.
